Objective Testing Before Personalized Treatment

What Is the LidPro Eye Exfoliator?

LidPro is an in-office eyelid exfoliation system designed to thoroughly clean the eyelid margins and lash line. It helps remove accumulated debris and scurf that may contribute to eyelid inflammation and conditions such as anterior blepharitis.

For patients experiencing persistent eyelid irritation, crusting, redness, or dry eye symptoms, we first evaluate the eyelids, tear film, ocular surface, and meibomian glands to determine what is contributing to the problem. LidPro may then be incorporated into a personalized treatment plan when eyelid buildup is identified as a contributing factor.

How Does LidPro Eye Exfoliation Work?

LidPro uses a powered handpiece with fast-spinning, disposable textured silicone cleaning discs. The disc is carefully guided along the upper and lower eyelid margins to exfoliate the area and remove unwanted buildup with minimal friction.

This controlled exfoliation allows us to clean areas along the lash line that can be difficult to address thoroughly with routine at-home eyelid hygiene.
