Optometrist
Dr. Rubinfeld has been practicing, lecturing and training other professionals for 30 years and is a well regarded and respected healthcare provider. He previously held the position as Medical Director for 3 national healthcare companies and has trained over 100 doctors in his former position.
In addition to general eyecare services, Dr. Rubinfeld specializes in the treatment of dry eye conditions and offers state of the art diagnostic and treatment for this and other ocular health conditions.
Optometrist
Dr. Patel received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Anthropology and Health Professions at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, NY. She completed her doctorate training with clinical honors at The New England College of Optometry. She pursued a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Jamaica Plain Veterans Affairs Hospital in Boston, MA, where she gained considerable experience with on-call emergency care and completed several rotations with the VA ophthalmology clinics.
Her passion lies in providing primary eye care for patients of all ages. She has extensive knowledge in the treatment and management of a range of ocular conditions, including dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Her goal is to ensure all patients feel comfortable and are provided with the best care possible. She is also able to perform eye exams in Spanish.
Outside of eye care, Dr. Patel loves to travel, read, and pursue a healthy and active lifestyle.

Dr. Amy Mundanchira received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell & Molecular Biology from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She went on to pursue her Doctorate at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with clinical honors. She is also part of the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric honor society. Dr. Mundanchira has completed various clinical rotations to expand her skill set, some of which include rotations in low vision at the Feinbloom Low Vision Center in Philadelphia, in pediatrics, and in ocular disease at the Hudson Valley VA. She has worked in different practice settings including alongside ophthalmologists where she co-managed complex and emergent patient cases.
Dr. Mundanchira is passionate about eye care, especially treating dry eye and ocular disease. She believes in providing compassionate, efficient eye care for patients of all ages. She is proficient in treating and managing potentially sight-threatening conditions including glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts.
In her free time, Dr. Mundanchira enjoys spending time with her husband, taking long walks, reading, and trying out new recipes.
