Eric C. Rubinfeld, OD

Medical Director

Dr. Rubinfeld has been practicing, lecturing, and training other professionals for 30 years and is a well-regarded and respected healthcare provider. He previously held the position of Medical Director for 3 national healthcare companies and has trained over 100 doctors in his former position.

Jiselle Alvarez-Granados, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Alvarez-Granados received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. She went on to earn her doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. There, she gained experience and completed various rotations, including traumatic brain injuries and low vision services at the West Haven VA, pediatrics, and working alongside ophthalmologists to co-manage sight-threatening conditions.

Jeremy Liang, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Jeremy Liang received his Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University and his optometry degree from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico-School of Optometry. He has completed various clinical rotations to expand his skill set, including rotations in ocular disease at Bronx Eye Associates, where he expanded his exposure to a wide variety of ocular conditions and procedures, including dry eye treatment utilizing punctual plug insertion, scleral lenses, and amniotic membranes. He has worked alongside ophthalmologists where he co-managed cataract surgeries, advanced disease, and emergent cases.

Matthew Winkler, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Winkler obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 2005. Developing a profound interest in vision, he pursued his doctoral studies at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in South Florida, graduating with honors in 2011. During this time, he served on the local Optometry board and received the prestigious Dean's Award, recognizing his exceptional clinical and educational achievements.

Michael Munoz, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Michael Munoz received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Sociology from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta. He completed his doctorate training at The New England College of Optometry. He has completed various clinical rotations to expand his skill set, some of which include rotations in low vision at the Jamaica Plains VA in Boston, MA, in the fitting of Specialty Contact Lenses, and in ocular disease at the Hudson Valley VA in Montrose, NY.

Vincent DeNinis, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Vincent DeNinis received his Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience from The State University of New York at Binghamton. He then received his Doctorate of Optometry from The State University of New York College of Optometry. During his training, he completed clinical rotations at the Northport VA Medical Center, OMNI Eye Services of Atlanta, the East New York Diagnostic and Treatment Center, as well as several specialty clinics at University Eye Center in Manhattan, including Neuro-Ophthalmology/Optometry and Specialty Contact Lens fitting.

Miranda Slaton, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Miranda Slaton graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Southwestern University. After joining Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, she found her passion for helping others with their vision care. Miranda went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from The University of Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry, where she was recognized with the Academic Achievement Award. She received advanced clinical training in ocular disease and dry eye management at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans’ Center.
