Eric C. Rubinfeld, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Rubinfeld has been practicing, lecturing and training other professionals for 30 years and is a well regarded and respected healthcare provider. He previously held the position as Medical Director for 3 national healthcare companies and has trained over 100 doctors in his former position.
In addition to general eyecare services, Dr. Rubinfeld specializes in the treatment of dry eye conditions and offers state of the art diagnostic and treatment for this and other ocular health conditions.
Michael Munoz, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Michael Munoz received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in Sociology from the State University of New York, College at Oneonta. He completed his doctorate training at The New England College of Optometry. He has completed various clinical rotations to expand his skill set, some of which include rotations in low vision at the Jamaica Plains VA in Boston, MA, in the fitting of Specialty Contact Lenses, and in ocular disease at the Hudson Valley VA in Montrose, NY.
After completing his doctoral training Dr. Munoz returned to his hometown of Yonkers, NY, where he is committed to providing exceptional care to all members of the community. He has extensive knowledge in the treatment and management of a range of ocular conditions, including dry eye, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. His goal is to ensure all patients feel comfortable and are provided with the best care possible. He is also able to perform eye exams in Spanish.
Outside of eye care, Dr. Munoz loves to travel and spend time with friends and family.
Jiselle Alvarez-Granados, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Alvarez-Granados received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Iona College in New Rochelle, NY. She went on to earn her doctorate from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. There she gained experience and completed various rotations including traumatic brain injuries and low vision services at the West Haven VA, pediatrics, and working alongside ophthalmologists to co-manage sight threatening conditions.
Clinically, Dr. Alvarez specializes in comprehensive exams for all ages and ocular diseases such as diabetes, specialty dry eye conditions and treatments, as well as myopia management and contact lens fittings. Dr. Alvarez is passionate about treating every patient with commitment, compassion, and exceptional care that they expect and deserve.
On her free time, Dr. Alvarez enjoys reading, going to concerts, and spending time with her friends, family and two dogs.
Nisim Pilosov, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Nisim Pilosov received his optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry. He has completed various clinical rotations to expand his skill set, including rotations in ocular disease at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY and in specialty contact lenses at the University Eye Center in Midtown Manhattan. Dr. Pilosov has also worked alongside ophthalmologists where he co-managed cataract surgeries, advanced disease, and emergent cases.
Dr. Pilosov provides comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages with a wide variety of ocular conditions. He takes a particular interest in dry eye and specialty contact lens fittings. He strives to listen wholeheartedly to meet the needs of his patients and give them the family like experience they deserve.
Outside the office, Dr. Pilosov enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Julie (Siyun) Ren, OD
Optometrist
Dr. Julie (Siyun) Ren received her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Rice University. She went on to pursue her Doctorate at the State of New York College of Optometry. During her time there, Dr. Ren has completed various clinical rotations with focuses in ocular disease, pediatrics and binocular vision, including rotations at East New York community health hospital and NYU Langone Hospital. She also conducted research in myopia control and received recognition for her work at academic conferences.
After completing her Doctorate, Dr. Ren went on to complete a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care Optometry at BronxCare Health Systems, where she gained extensive experience in pediatric optometry, glaucoma, retinal disease, corneal and anterior segment disease, and neuro-ophthalmology. She also worked closely with the emergency department and urgent care as part of the ophthalmology on-call team to address ocular emergencies. Dr. Ren is passionate about providing the best comprehensive care to patients and making sure that all concerns are properly addressed.
Dr. Ren is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and strongly believes in continuing education to ensure that she stays up to date on all the current treatments and guidelines. In her free time, she runs a small photography business and enjoys spending time with her husband and their "zoo" of 3 cats and 1 puppy.
